Meta 🌝 Participation Restriction Reminders

We are getting quite a bit of modmail from users asking about content being automatically removed. As a reminder, we have implemented several tools to help limit trolling and brigading. Among these are:

  1. Trending Tattler - this bot checks r/all and r/popular to see if posts have found their way to the feeds. If a post is found there, the bot will turn on Crowd Control, limiting participation by new accounts or low karma accounts. If this is active, there will be a pinned comment on the post saying so.

  2. High Risk designation - posts that are at a high risk of being trolled or brigaded will be flaired High Risk. This will trigger automod to limit participation to established contributors to our community. This designation requires higher karma levels than Crowd Control does.

Note that karma refers to both sitewide and community karma. If you have a lot of karma in general but none in our sub, you may still be restricted.

Or take a portable charger, or multiple phones if that’s what you want to do. It’s a safety issue. They did take the driver, despite never showing a warrant or checking his identification. He said his name was (as far as I could hear) Adan. I hope he’s safe.

"We must continue in every legal and nonviolent way possible to oppose Trump's authoritarianism. I am going to do all that I can here in the United States Senate. People have got to do all that they can in their own communities. We must focus on the midterm elections next November...to put an end to his efforts to undermine American democracy.

Real change has never come from the top on down. It has always come from ordinary people standing together, protesting, organizing and fighting for justice. If we stay engaged, if we stay united, we will not only defeat authoritarianism and oligarchy, we will build a country that finally works for all of us, not just the few." - Bernie Sanders

Minnesota is the frontline of defense for our Constitution and the rule of law. Every American should contact Congress to demand the end to the ICE occupation of Minnesota and violation of our Constitutional rights. The President, VP, heads of DHS/ICE, and any other member of the Executive Branch that has abused their power and betrayed their oaths should be impeached and removed immediately.

High Risk UPDATE: Target CEO Agrees to Meet with MN Clergy After Demands, Sit-in at Corporate Headquarters

Post image
591 Upvotes

“After 7 hours of singing, waiting, and a brief phone conversation where Cornell allegedly hangs up the call, corporate Target staff shared that Cornell has agreed to an in-person meeting this Monday, January 19th, 2026 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day),” says ISAIAH Minnesota Chapter, a multiracial, multi-faith group of faith communities.

This comes after Customs and Border Patrol agents assaulted and detained two U.S. citizens working at the Target in Richfield, MN. Multiple videos of this assault can be found online, but here is a link to just one of those videos: https://www.reddit.com/r/minnesota/comments/1qauntn/ice_kidnap_17yearold_us_citizen_working_at_target/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

The clergy say they are “glad that Cornell has agreed to meet,” but also “extremely clear that there is no cause for celebration until Target leadership has leveraged their power and done their part to meaningfully protect their workers, customers, and communities in the state they call home.”

I am speaking with ISAIAH currently to get a more in-depth, on-camera interview with one of the clergy organizers.

High Risk Renee Good had four gunshot wounds, fire department report reveals

Thumbnail

This post directly relates to the death of a Minnesotan citizen.

eta: My last post was removed so let's try again.

A 911 caller told dispatchers “they shot her [because] she wouldn’t open her car door,” according to transcripts. “Send an ambulance please, ambulance please.”

Source: https://www.startribune.com/renee-nicole-good-ice-shooting-injuries-incident-report-details/601565066

This is important, because this is very likely the explanation Jonathan Ross gave to his fellow ICE about why he shot her when he walked backed to his team. And this contradicts any assumptions that she was trying to use her vehicle to run over ICE.
